Nature Center

  • Mon.-Fri.: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

  • Sat.: 9 a.m.  - 4 p.m.

  • Sun.: Noon - 4 p.m.

  • Occasionally closed on holidays. Call to check.

Hiking/Ski/Snowshoe Trails

  • Open daylight hours if conditions allow. Call to check.

Nature Center/Trail Fee

Nonmembers $1.50
Under 12 free
Maximum fee $5 per family
Members of Friends of BCR free

Butterfly House Hours

Open July 5-September 10
Mon.-Sat.: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Sun.: noon-3 p.m.

Butterfly House Admission

Donation is appreciated to help maintain the butterfly house.

Observatory Hours

Open for public observing on clear Saturday nights from May through October.

  • May: 9 p.m. - Midnight

  • June & July: 10 p.m. - Midnight

  • August & September: 9 p.m. - Midnight

  • October 8 p.m. - Midnight

Also open for special programs throughout the year on the third Saturday of each month (except December) at 8 p.m. . See Calendar of Events.
