Greenhouse

greenhouse 2006

Beaver Creek's greenhouse is where all the action takes place when it comes to gearing up for the Reserve's native plant sale, which is held annually the day before Mother's Day. This event could not happen without the time and talents of the many volunteers needed to seed, transplant, water and plan this much anticipated event.

If you are interested in volunteering in the greenhouse or butterfly house, please contact us at bcr@beavercreekreserve.org or download this form, fill it out and return it to Beaver Creek. In addition to raising plants for the native plant sale, greenhouse volunteers also plant and cultivate host and nectar plants, which are then transplanted to the Butterfly House.  Picture yourself walking among the colorful, fragrant flowers as a graceful monarch flits by.
