Hiking and Ski Trails

bridge over Beaver Creek

The scenic trails at Beaver Creek Reserve allow visitors to explore several different habitat types including riparian corridors, different wetland types, a flood plain forest and an upland forest. The observant hiker may catch a glimpse of or find signs from potential Reserve inhabitants like deer, beaver, turkey, golden-winged or mourning warblers, and the tufted titmouse. During the right season hikers can discover the quiet beauty in the gentle sway of the pink lady slipper or the upright stance of Jack-in-the-pulpit.
