The Beaver Creek Reserve MAPS project is conducted in an area near the western end of the Henke Field Research Station encompassing a twenty hectare area (outer circle). Eleven 12-meter mist nets are distributed more or less randomly but opportunistically (where birds will likely be caught) within a core area of eight hectares (center circle).
