Warbler Wednesday

Warbler Wednesday

May 13th, 2026 | 7:30 am - 9:00 am | Beaver Creek Reserve | Location: Fall Creek, Wisconsin

Join volunteer and bird banders, Dave Kragness and Karen Mittag, along with Avian Field Tech, Santiago Tabares Erices, at Beaver Creek Reserve for an educational experience as we welcome back migrating warblers!

Learn about the different species of warblers that call Wisconsin home during the summer. You’ll be guided through their songs, physical features, and migratory behaviors while exploring the trails.
You’ll also practice birding skills like using binoculars and identifying birds by sight and sound.

This program is perfect for birding enthusiasts of all levels and offers a chance to connect with nature while appreciating Wisconsin’s birdlife. Prepare for approximately 1.5 miles of hiking. We will meet in front of the Nature Center. Bring your own binoculars or we have some that you can borrow!
