Butterfly House

Open July 5 – Sunday before Labor Day
Monday – Saturday
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Walk among and interact with a variety of Wisconsin's native butterflies in their natural environment. The season is short but intense, and the species change frequently. Each year is different and extraordinary.

Hobbs Observatory

Public viewing is available on CLEAR Saturdays from May through October starting about 30-45 minutes after sunset, as CVAS volunteer staffing permits.

Imagine the moon, planets, and galaxies appearing 200 times larger and 10,000 times brighter than when seen by the naked eye! With two computerized telescopes, a large lecture room, and a resource room, you're all set to stargaze.
